STYLIST HUNTER TERMS & CONDITIONS
Welcome to Stylist Hunter (SH), owned and run by Jacqueline Parker, ABN 54 167 116 373.
Important Disclaimer: By using our online platform (www.stylisthunter.com.au) to book hair and/or makeup services, and ticking the acceptance box on our booking form, you indicate that you have read, understood, and agreed to both SH’s Terms and Conditions and your selected hair and makeup artist’s (stylist’s) Terms and Conditions (below). Please read all T&Cs carefully before making a booking.
1. GENERAL

Stylist Hunter (SH) operates as an online platform that facilitates introductions between a client (you) and individual trading hair and makeup artists (stylists), who each run their own independent businesses under an Australian Business Number (ABN). SH’s role is to pass on booking requests from clients to the stylists, recommend stylists who have been vetted for quality and professionalism, and provide quotes from those stylists’ businesses to clients. This is a FREE service to the client.

SH does not manage stylists’ calendars or handle bookings on their behalf. Once a client secures a booking, it is the client’s responsibility to liaise directly with the stylist to reconfirm all details prior to the appointment.

SH’s role is limited to facilitating connections and recommendations only, and SH is not responsible or liable for the work performed by the stylists. Clients acknowledge that SH’s service is entirely separate from the services rendered by the stylist, and SH makes no warranties or guarantees regarding the quality, suitability, or outcome of the stylist’s services.

By booking through the SH platform, clients acknowledge that the contractual relationship exists solely between the client and the stylist, and any disputes or claims arising from the services provided are to be resolved directly with the stylist.

Please note that by making your booking we have assumed implied consent to add you to our mailing list. Please email us at admin@stylisthunter.com.au if you wish to be removed, or use the unsubscribe button in any emails sent.
2. PAYMENTS & CHARGES

An initial deposit is required at the time of booking and will be processed/collected through the SH website on behalf of the stylist. The deposit is non-refundable, unless the stylist is unable to accept your booking. Please refer to our refund policy HERE.

SH does not process or handle any payments beyond the initial deposit. Any secondary deposit or the remaining balance is payable directly to the stylist as per their own individual terms and conditions (refer to their T&Cs below or any specific communication with the stylist post-booking).

Completion of the online booking form constitutes a contract of service between the client and the stylist.

Unpaid invoices that are overdue may be forwarded to a debt collection agency for recovery, including any associated costs.
3. SAFETY & INDEMNITY

The use of makeup, hair, and beauty products may result in allergic reactions, adverse health reactions, or injury. Clients agree to engage stylists at their own risk and acknowledge that SH and its affiliates are not liable for any injury, harm, or adverse outcomes arising from services provided by stylists or their Directors, Instructors, Subcontractors, Employees, Assistants or Agents.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that the premises provided for services are safe, hazard-free, and suitable for the stylist’s needs.

Clients agree to indemnify Jacqueline Parker/Stylist Hunter and any stylist recommended by SH against all claims and all costs, liability and expenses incurred by SH, arising wholly or in part from the use of the venue, the client's breach of these Terms and Conditions, or any act or omission by the client, their visitors, employees, agents and contractors (including a negligent act or omission) in respect of:
a) Loss or damage to property; and
b) Illness, injury or death of any person.
4. RECOMMENDATIONS & ENDORSEMENTS

SH may provide recommendations or endorsements for certain stylists listed on our platform, based on previous experiences or a comprehensive vetting process. These recommendations reflect SH’s subjective opinion and personal experience but do not constitute a warranty or guarantee of the stylist’s performance, suitability, or outcomes of the services provided.

SH’s vetting process ensures that stylists meet our standards of quality and professionalism; however, clients acknowledge that SH does not guarantee the performance or results of the services rendered.

SH shall not be held liable for any discrepancies between recommendations and actual service outcomes.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jacqueline Parker/Stylist Hunter, including its Directors, Employees, Instructors, Subcontractors, and Agents, are absolved from any liability arising from damage, loss, injury, illness, death, loss to property, damage to property, or claims of any kind resulting from the use of the services facilitated through the SH platform.

By engaging a stylist through the SH platform, clients acknowledge and agree that Jacqueline Parker/Stylist Hunter is not liable for the actions, omissions, or services of the individual stylists or their Directors, Instructors, Subcontractors, Employees, Assistants or Agents.

SH is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from cancellations, delays, or alterations to services provided by stylists or their Directors, Instructors, Subcontractors, Employees, Assistants or Agents.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR PLATFORM USE

SH is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from technical issues, website errors, or interruptions in service on the SH platform.
7. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

Cancellation and rescheduling policies vary by stylist. Clients are responsible for reviewing and complying with the stylist’s specific terms related to cancellations and refunds.

SH is not responsible for any cancellation fees or disputes between the client and the stylist
-
SH is not responsible for any issues arising from changes to bookings, including but not limited to cancellations, rescheduling, or discrepancies in pricing or availability.
8. AMENDMENTS
-
SH reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting.
AMEE HARVEY TERMS OF SERVICE

Deposits – All Bookings:
- An initial deposit is collected via Stylist Hunter upon booking, which is $25 per adult service and $10 per child's service. This amount is deducted from your final invoice total and is subject to Stylist Hunter's refund policy (see link above).
- A further non-refundable deposit is required to be paid directly to Amee via online invoice to secure your booking. This amount is calculated based on your total booking numbers, and will be deducted from your final invoice total.
- This second deposit is required to be paid to Amee within 7 days of invoice receipt. Once your deposit has been paid and received, your booking date and time is secured.
- Until your deposit has been paid and received in full, the date remains available and can be booked by another client
Bridal Bookings & Cancellations:
- Your balance invoice will be sent to you via online invoice and is due to be paid 30 days prior to your wedding date.
- Once your final invoice has been paid, payments are non refundable and any cancellation of services less than 30 days prior to your booking date are non-refundable.
- Additional services can be added but are subject to artist availability.
- If you cancel your wedding date booking at any time (with more than 30 days notice prior to your wedding date), your deposit is non-refundable.
- If you cancel your wedding date booking with less than 30 days before your booking date, your deposit and final invoice payment is non refundable (exceptional circumstances apply).
- If you decide to postpone/reschedule your wedding date booking, your deposit will be transferred to your new booking date. This includes weddings that are postponed/rescheduled due to government restrictions. Changes to your booking date is subject to artist availability.
Event Bookings & Cancellations:
- Your balance invoice is due to be paid 7 days prior to your event booking date and this is non-refundable (exceptional circumstances apply). On the day, payments can be made via EFTPOS by prior arrangement.
- If you cancel your event day booking with more than 7 days notice, your deposit and any other payments made are non-refundable.
- If you cancel your event day booking with less than 7 days notice, your deposit and any other payments made are non-refundable.
Bridal Trial Bookings:
- When booking your trial, your appointment is for one hair and/or makeup look per person. If you wish to trial more than one makeup look / style per person, a longer booking time can be made at a rate of $120 per person per makeup look / hairstyle.
- Bridal trials must be paid for in full on the day of the trial to the stylist.
- Once your Bridal Trial appointment has been fulfilled, payment for this service is non-refundable. Prepaid Bridal Trials that are postponed due to illness or other reasonable circumstances, payment will be transferred to your new Bridal Trial
booking date.
Illness and Overseas Travel:
- It is your responsibility to inform Amee if you have been feeling unwell in the time leading up to your appointment. Makeup application can not be performed if you are ill and appointments can be rescheduled and deposit/payments made transferred to a future booking date (subject to artist availability). This is for the safety of the artist as well as others. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a new booking date.
Travel Fees, Early Start Fees & Regional Bookings:
- Travel fees apply for all bookings in the Perth Metropolitan area, charged at 85 cents per km return per artist (calculated from artist’s salon). Your travel fee will be stated on your invoice.
- Travel to county areas in Western Australia within a 450km radius of Perth CBD, are subject to artist availability and travel fees are charged at a rate of $50 per hour return per artist.
- For bookings with a start time of 6am to 7am, an early start fee applies of $50 per artist. For bookings with a start time of 5am to 6am, early start fee is $100 per artist. For bookings prior to 5am, early start fee will apply and be quoted on your invoice.
- For country areas within a 450km radius of Perth CBD, one nights accommodation may be required to be paid for by you, depending on the location and start time (minimum 3 star accommodation rating) and meal allowance of $50 per artist.
- For regional areas further than 450km radius, return flights and minimum one night accommodation will be required to be paid for by you and a $600 regional travel & expenses fee applies (this covers meals, transport costs/car hire & travel fees). Minimum booking numbers apply for regional areas of 6 ladies for makeup AND 6 ladies for hairstyling and a maximum of 9 ladies.
Payment Options:
- Online invoice payments can be made via credit card/visa debit.
- On the day, Eftpos and cash payments can be accepted by prior arrangement with the artist.
Booking Dates and Times:
- We are a mobile business, so start and finish times depend on the bookings received. The following days are an exception and bookings can not be made on the following days – Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, ANZAC Day.
By paying your deposit, you agree to the above terms and conditions.
